We have informed MARAD of a project design update regarding the proposed facility plans for Harbor Island. We have reduced our footprint on Harbor Island by relocating pumps and storage tanks to our planned onshore Multi-Use Terminal near Taft. The revised design still maintains pipeline flushing capabilities to ensure safe and responsible operations. Harbor Island remains an important facility location for BWTX project components including a building for personnel; industrial equipment for inspection, monitoring and communications; a storm surge levee; and an access road. MARAD is seeking public comment via the Federal Register.
